Unable to view or Cant See Thumbnail Images in Windows Explorer

Can't see Icons in "Thumbnail" view in Windows Explorer?

Many a time, many of us will get to see that we are suddenly not able to see the Icons in the Thumbnails View. In such cases you need not bang your head all thw while. When you click Thumbnail view, and when you dont see the Thumbnail Images or Icons you can do the below solutions:

First Solution:

• Go to menu option \Tools\Folder Options\File Types
• Search for the .ico entry in the list of file extensions.
• Click on 'Restore' button and then click OK and close the window

Second Solution:

click Start -> run, and type in:
REGSVR32 SHMEDIA.DLL [and click ok].
This will re-enable movie previews (thumbnails) for Windows Explorer
