Here is how you fix it!
- Restart the computer, pressing the [F8] key just before Windows starts.
- A menu should appear.Choose ‘Safe Mode’ from the list and press [Enter].
- When in Safe Mode, go to the Device Manager (Right-click on ‘My Computer’ and click ‘Properties’.
- Choose the ‘Hardware’ tab and click on ‘Device Manager’. Here click on the ‘Video’ or ‘Display adapter’ and select ‘Uninstall’.
- Restart the computer and the system will reinstall the video card drivers.
- Set the resolution according to what the monitor supports and your system will be fine again. :)
