XFX has shed its trademark identity as an Nvidia exclusive partner, first launching motherboards with Intel chipsets and then announcing its intention to sell graphics cards with ATI GPUs. The
company will launch its Radeon 4000-series based cards in early 2009, and have promised to continue offering customized drivers and factory-overclocked cards. The move is seen as a reaction to Nvidia's frequent and confusing lineup changes, and ATI's better value.
