Obama uses whitehouse.gov to reach out to the world

Newly-sworn in uS president Barack obama's team launched a completely revamped www.whitehouse.gov within hours of his assuming office. the president's use of online media during his campaign was widely acknowledged as a huge factor in his victory, and his new official website further promotes his tech-savvy image. the site uses streaming video (in addition to the new official White house Youtube channel), blogs, a modern design, high-quality photography, and even RSS feeds. the Briefing Room section will contain multimedia-rich updates for the world to see. And the interaction is two-way—visitors can comment on anything from the site design to government
legislation before it is signed by the president.
